Hands-On Research
Our research spans the globe, from Mexico to Uruguay, Spain to North Carolina. You'll find us collecting data out in the community and inside the classroom. And sharing our research, everywhere from international conferences to Fiesta del Pueblo in Raleigh. Our faculty and students are addressing some of the biggest questions in Hispanic linguistics, bringing #ThinkAndDo to life.

Conferences
In 2011, the Spanish Linguistics in North Carolina (SLINKI) conference was founded at NC State. A one-day conference that focuses on research by scholars in the southeast and/or on Spanish in NC and beyond, SLINKI has been held at different universities around the region, and has led to collaborations among faculty and students. SLINKI is another example of our focus on sharing the results of our research throughout NC and beyond.
